Hi folks! I got an email from SASS headquarters informing me that 3
clubs have applied to host next years CA State Championship.
5 Dogs Creek - based in Bakersfield
Two Rivers Posse - in Manteca (up near Modesto / Sacramento area)
The Cowboys - in Norco.
SASS states on the cover letter of the State Championship applications,
"If there is more than one application per state, the clubs will be
notified, and the Territorial Governors from the state will decide the
location of that State Action Shooting Championship."
Full disclosure - while I am the TG for the Robbers Roost Vigilantes, I
am also a member of 5 Dogs, so there is a possible appearance of a
conflict of interest here. I think that the best thing for me to do is
to query the RRV membership and vote as the majority of the responses
indicate. I need to mail the results back to SASS headquarters so it
gets there by June 15th, so I would like your responses by June 1st.
Spread the word to anyone you know who doesn't get email, and I'll also
announce this at the May shoot. Email is the best way to respond, but
I'll take responses any way they come, except for collect phone calls or
postage due letters.
I want to represent you as best I can, and I need your input to do that.
